This is an original Brother DR3400 drum unit. Original means this is a brand new drum made by Brother themselves. The drum can print up to 50,000 pages before it will need to be replaced. This is the part which prints the toner into shape on the page, so it's really important to replace the drum when the printer tells you to in order to keep your prints at top quality. The drum is the large part you take out of the printer when changing a toner, it's the part you unclip the toner from.
